An event by doujinshi for fans. Local doujinshi gathered and showcased their work. This is the first ever doujin event in singapore. The turn out wasn’t good as cosplay though.

Today is a fine day. After work, I stopped by Crystal Jade My Bread then Provence Bakery & Cafe to buy pineapple bun(bo lo baau) and melon bun(melon pan) respectively. They are perfect for breakfast!
From their looks, I thought pineapple bun is a pineapple-flavoured melon bun and vice-versa for melon bun.

Melon pan has sugar on the crispy outer crust. It is soft inside, thus nice to bite. Bo lo baau on the other hand has its outer crust filled with egg. I’m an egg lover so I totally enjoyed this one. The crust isn’t as tough as melon pan’s. Its fragile and break off easily. It’s fragance is stronger than melon pan’s. I would definately prefer bo lo baau over melon pan.
Strange enough, I can’t taste any pineapple in pineapple bun and melon in melon pan.
Stopping by Provence, it’s not possible to stop me buying this…
