The Sweet Stone Parad’Ice

Liège waffle dipped in Belgium chocolate. Who can ever resist that? I ordered couple set which consists of 2 waffles and 3 gelatos and Set A which consists of a waffle and a small bowl of choclate dip. My flavour of choice is Chocolate, Super Lemon and Speculoos. In the above pictures, try guessing which is which^_^ Other available flavours are Peppermint, Banana, Coffee, Green Tea and Vanilla. I heard green tea is good.

Unlike regular waffle, Liège waffle is harder on the outer layer and it’s soft inside. That makes it perfect for eating with liquid chocolate or gelato. A great dessert for those who like sweet stuff. For those who don’t, the sweetness of the chocolate can be neutralised by their Super Lemon gelato that guarantees super sourness. A bite of chocolate dripping waffle, followed by a spoonful of Super Lemon. It’s like bouncing between the edge of sweet chocolate and ultra-sourness. Super Lemon isn’t creamy like common gelato, it’s more like ice-blended of extremely fine quality.

The chocolate gelato is nothing special. Probably a flavour too common. While speculoos gelato is something that’s different from others. It tastes quite sweet, which I hoped it isn’t since my chocolate dip and gelato are both sweet. Though, I didn’t regret getting it at all. In fact it’s my most prefered flavours out of the threes. Its distinctive taste totally seperates it from other cookie flavour ice-cream. I also heard that these gelatos are home made.
